The 97 Barb showing is largely underlain by volcaniclastic and sedimentary rock of the Middle Jurassic Smithers Formation, Hazelton Group. Quartz dioritic stocks, dikes and plugs of the Late Cretaceous Bulkley Plutonic Suite and Eocene felsitic intrusive rocks intrude the strata.

Sample 97 contained 17.3 grams per tonne silver backed up by 8.3 grams silver from 1982. These are from fine-grained quartz-silicified breccia samples of proximal float. About 150 to 200 metres to the northwest quartz vein is noted with chalcopyrite.

Refer to Barb (093E 109) for common details of the Barb and Sue claims.
